I am Anthony, son of Arathorn, the nine and thirtieth heir in the right line from Isildur. Wait, no, seems like I got my stories switched again. So, you’d actually like to know a bit about me? Well, my name is Anthony, born and raised in sunny southern California. In 2012, after travels to Seattle and NYC, a small fire started burning inside me. A spontaneous trip to Hong Kong and 6 week backpacking trip to Central America later and the fire was raging on. Ever since then I’ve spent as much time as possible (money permitting) traveling around the world.

My journey into photography didn’t actually begin until after those aforementioned trips, which is a shame because there was so much to photograph! One summer day in 2015 I came across an amazing deal on a refurbished Nikon DSLR and purchased it. Prior to that purchase my only experience was with whatever cell phone I owned at the time, a true beginner. So, what did I do? I read every free lesson and tutorial available online. In addition, I watched YouTube videos on a loop, for days on end, trying to learn all the fundamentals and intricacies of photography. And you know what happened? I took bad photos. Many horrible photos. I learned from those photos though, sometimes you need to make mistakes to better your understanding. As a result, I put in more and more practice to become the photographer I am today.

What am doing now?

Last year I met an amazing girl from a seaside town in the southwest of England. We both shared a passion for travel and similar aspirations of dropping everything and traveling the world. We plan to start our adventure this summer in Europe and head towards the warmer waters of southeast Asia this winter.
